Contrail is made by Alexander Verge, an individual.
Contrail requests access to your Photos library so it can read the date and location of your photos and use that information to build a map and statistics of the places you've traveled.
You can revoke Contrail's photo access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos, or delete the app to remove everything it has stored.
